Ruma Dey is a sincere student and graceful performer of Gaudiya Nritya,and had been learning this dance from DR. Mahua Mukherjee since the last 14 years.She is also trained in folk dance forms of Bengal and Bharatnatyam.Very recent she was invited by Chitresh Das Dance Company and Chhandam school of Kathak to perform in Traditions Engaged, an INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF CLASSICAL INDIAN DANCE AND MUSIC in SAN FRANCISCO and LOSS ANGELES , USA.
